JUNIOR RACERS MAKE ONE FINAL LAP

The last original CASCAR Junior (CJR) racers - Darrell Lake (#77) and Andrew Perkins (#3) - took one final commemorative lap after the 2003 CJR finale on August 20th. Darrell and Andrew were CJR racers for 7 fun and educational seasons at Delaware Speedway.
Darrell and Andrew are very appreciative of all the work that Tony Novotny (CJR founder), Brad McGonigle, Brian Thomas, Jim Patrick, Ken Baker, Amy Dugas, Elaine Hassen, Brad Clarke, Kevin Bulmer, and all the Delaware Speedway crew did over the years to make CJR such a terriffic racing experience. THANKS EVERYONE! Darrell and his Team are working on a deal to move into the Delaware Street Stock or Truck class next year. Andrew and his Team are hoping that they might be able to secure a ride in a Delaware Street Stock or CASCAR Sportsman for next season. |
