2007 APPRECIATION DAY
We celebrated "Sponsor and Team Appreciation Day" at Delaware Speedway on Sunday, September 16, 2007. This is becoming a bit of an annual tradition now, a chance to thank our Sponsors and Team for their awesome support during the season. We shared the rental of Delaware Speedway with the Darrell Lake and Stephen Richmond racing teams.
The weather was perfect, a sunny, mild fall day. Uncle Don did lots of work to get Scarlett (#3) and Gert (#8) ready for drives and rides. Mrs. Lake, Mrs. Richmond, and Mom worked hard to get the food and drinks ready to go. Uncle Don hooked up a couple of TVs so that people could watch the NASCAR race and play video games. I got the CarBQ ready, while Steve Williams and Dad helped get things ready for the day.
