SPONSOR & TEAM APPRECIATION DAY

On September 26th we celebrated "Sponsor and Team Appreciation Day" at Delaware Speedway. We joined Darrell Lake and Dave Lawrence at the track with our race cars. We really wanted to thank our Sponsors and Team for their support this season. Thanks to Mom and Mrs. Lake we had plenty of food and refreshments ready for the day. However, the highlight of the day was being able to offer everyone a chance to drive or ride in one of our race cars.

Uncle Don installed a second seat (with full 5-point harness) on the passenger side of our car so that those not ready to drive the car could still have some fun going for a 4 or 5-lap ride around Delaware Speedway. I gave lots of rides and Dave Lawrence also used our car to take some of his group for a ride. Judging by how many people lined up for a ride, and the smiles on their faces afterwards, this was a big hit with everyone.
