Kramer's KNotes

November 7, 2009 Today Kramer was picked up by his new driver, Branden Bullen.

In 2010 Kramer will begin a new career at Sunset Speedway, in the Mini-Stock Division. Giddy-up!

August 31, 2008 Today Kramer was to run during the intermission period of the APC 300.

Unfortunately Kramer sprung a hole in his oil pan and it was too severe to risk temporary repairs. Even Kramerica Industries' Oil Tanker Bladder System wouldn't work.

August 15, 2008 Tonight was a make-up race for the July 19th rainout. The course tonight was called the "Red Barrel" which Kramer had to bump (but not knock over) each lap. The "forest" also made a return on the front straight. Matt Payne was Kramer's pilot once again.

Kramer started last on the grid (6th place) and kept out of trouble for the most part. Kramer lost his rear bumper about the half way point - but it seems that everyone does in Chaos racing, like it's a rule or something. Kramer gave up some power to the other cars but was pretty good in the tight turns. On the last lap Red Baron, Fred, O.P.P., and Kramer headed into the final 360 degree barrel turn nose to tail. Fred emerged the leader and took the checkered flag, followed by O.P.P. and Kramer. When a video review revealed that Fred failed to complete a full 360 degree spin around the last barrel the win was awarded to O.P.P. so Kramer finished second.

August 9, 2008 Kramer was rarin' to go and so was Delaware Speedway, so the race was on despite a thunderstorm. Matt Payne agreed to pilot Kramer again.
Sketch of course layout
The format for the race was called the "Forest", with a gauntlet narrowing down to one lane followed by obstacles strewn across the front straight. Hit a forest obstacle and you would be ppppenalized.

Kramer drew fifth place for the start, avoided a first corner pileup and took off. Matt cut some nice corners and got Kramer up to third place, right behind the leaders in the "stop box", then Kramer stalled (Kramer hated gettting his feet wet). Matt got Kramer going again and fought back for a fourth place finish. Giddyuppppppppp!

July 19, 2008 Kramer was ready to giddyup but racing was cancelled at Delaware Speedway due to thunderstorms.

Which reminded Kramer of Newwwman once again ....

"Newman : Work ? It's raining .

George : Soooooo

Newman : I called in sick . I don't work in the rain .

George : You don't work in the rain ? You're a mailman . " Neither rain nor sleet nor snow ....." It's the first one .

Newman : I was never that big on creeds ."

July 4, 2008 Kramer makes his big debut at Delaware Speedway. In Practice Kramer is pulled over for having a passenger in the car. Once officials understand that Kramer wants to use the 'Karpool' lane it's giddyup! However, a bad fuel pump soon sends Kramer home (and looking for sabatoge suspect Newman).

July 2, 2008 Matt Payne volunteers to pilot Kramer on his first run.

June 12, 2008 Vandelay Industries decides to go Chaos Kar racing - because "it's out there Jerry, and I'm lovin' it".

December 17, 2007 Delaware Speedway introduces "CHAOS CARS" 4-cylinder class at Delaware Speedway
