Darrell has been an avid racer since he was nine years old, starting his racing career in Micro Sprints. In 1997 Darrell won the first ever CASCAR Junior (CJR) race. Since then Darrell competed successfully in CASCAR Junior, the Junior Late Model Invitaional Series, and the JCAR series. In 2004 Darrell moved up to the Street Stock Division at Delaware Speedway.

This year Darrell is racing in the Peterbilt SUPER STOCK Division at Delaware. On May 11, 2007 Darrell won his first FEATURE RACE.
